Shoal Arts

We're (currently) two rather wonderful creatives who have put our heads and resources together and made a plan. As artists and curators we experience first hand how pretentious the Arts society can be and we thought to ourselves...Why?!  So here we are! The beginning pieces of an alternative, non-conformist, yet non-anarchic community of utterly different yet like minded creatives. Wanna join us? 

 

So a half arsed manifesto?

 

We’re artists; we believe in art, we’re enthusiastic about art and we want to share that enthusiasm with other artists, and everybody else

 

The contemporary art world is too serious and we want to create a platform for communication and exchange among artists in the South West (and elsewhere).

To encourage and support  the development of arts cultures, particularly one's with a sense of humour and awareness of the ironic.

 

Oh great, more ‘networking’.

            Yeah, probably, but who knows… it might be fun.
