For those that wander angrily/aimlessly around art shows – wondering “but is it art?”

 

I like to be playful and irreverent in what I make and do – a little like Maverick and Goose in Top Gun…

 

These two pieces are a rye glance through the doors of the Open Art Show, hopefully, nobody will be expecting two oversized, garish faux fur fairground Gonks. They are actually inspired by the Op Art work of the 60s, revisited and updated with ceramic feet adorned with decals showing the rural idyll of Ye Olde England.  They incorporate nostalgia and the domestic with a good dose of piss take.
