Do you ever ask yourself what an "expandable universe" is ? Or multiple dimensions ? Or simply infinity. I read article about astrophysics and barely understand anything and it's why I like reading them. Often they talk about these concepts : "Higgs Boson and why matter exists". All these concepts or ideas are undefinable to my comprehension. What I mean is that I can't create a proper mental image. It's like I can visualize that this thing exist but only from it's shadow. And the reality of the universe expanding is always escaping my mind. I can't seem to grasp these ideas. They resist to my comprehension system if you will. That moment that happens in my brain, the moment when these concept resist, defy my perception, that's the moment that starts the work process.

Similarly, when I go to an exhibition, I always keep a stronger memory of the art pieces that showed some ind of resistance. Basically pieces that are enigmatic and unsolvable. Pieces that don't really say things but suggests them. I think what I like about art is precisely that way it slightly escapes us. We can't grasp these objects entirely, there's always some enigma about their existence.
